Cambodia is situated in the tropical area, and the weather is warm enough even if it is in the hot or rainy season that is why many tourists want to come and visit. Related to tourism industry, there are many natural and beautiful places where they are really attracted by both national and international tourists, and these are included:
(1) It is about the ancient temple. Cambodia has a lot of ancient temples which were built in hundred years ago by the famous and strongest Cambodian kings. The temples were built almost in every province in Cambodia especially in Siem Reap province. In Siem Reap province, there can be found a lot beautiful and wonderful temples such as Taprum temple, Bayon temple, Angortom and Angkortouch temples, and especially Angor Wat which is counted as “Wonder”. Besides visiting the temples, you can also ride the elephants to get to the top of mountain to see the beautiful, attractive and cute sunset in the evening.
(2) It is about water fall. Natural water fall can be found a lot in Cambodia, and it is so beautiful and attractive. You can see it falling down from the top of mountains along with the lustrous view of trees, sound of the birds and water. This can be found in some places in Cambodia such as in kompot province (Toek Chhou), in Takeo province (Chrous Ta-Ork), in Mundul Kiri province, and some other places.
(3) It is about river called Tonle Sap. Tonle Sap is a famous river in Cambodia where there are a lot of types of fishes, and above all mangrove trees. You will get good, natural, and fresh air, and especially you can taste fresh fish that are immediately grilled. Furthermore, you can get on the rowing boats to see the beautiful nature of the river including birds, trees, and the sunshine in late afternoon.
(4) It is about killing field. You may hear about the civil war in Cambodia between 1975 until 1979, and almost three million Cambodian people were killed during genocidal regime, Khmer Rouge (Red Khmer). There are many killing fields that you can visit and learn about the civil war in Cambodia such as Toul Sleng prison in Phnom Penh, Kraing Tachan in Tramkak district, Takeo province and so on. With this, you will see how the torture is done and some other skeletons.
(5) It is about royal palace and national museum. In royal palace, you will see a lot of things that are related to Cambodia such the statues of the kings, aborigines, Buddha, and some other kinds of ancient and valuable jewelries.
